LOCATION: I tutor in south Orange County at your home or local library; sessions are one and a half or two hours long.

Course Descriptions

Super Score Course

If this describes you:

  • I am completely dedicated to maximizing my test score!!
  • I am taking the SAT or ACT twice within a season. For example, ACT in September and October, or SAT in March and May.
  • I will use my best test to apply for schools.
  • I will use my highest individual scores in a particular section (Math, Reading, etc.) across both tests to provide a "super score" to apply for schools.
  • I have at least 6-8 weeks to prepare for the first test.
  • I can meet once a week for a two hour session.
  • I can do up to 2 hours of homework per week.

then you want the SUPER SCORE COURSE:

  • 22 hours of tutoring
  • 5 full length practice tests

Full Course

If this describes you:

  • I am taking the ACT or SAT once.
  • I have 8-10 weeks to prepare.
  • I can meet once a week for a two hour session.
  • I can do up to 2 hours of homework per week.

then you want the FULL COURSE:

  • 16 hours of tutoring
  • 3 full length practice tests

Combo Course

If this describes you:

  • I am taking both the SAT and ACT.
  • I have 8-10 weeks to prepare for one test, then 4-6 weeks for the next.
  • I can meet once a week for a two hour session.
  • I can do up to 2 hours of homework per week.

then you want the COMBO COURSE:

  • 22 hours of tutoring
  • 5 full length practice tests

Advanced Course

If this describes you:

  • I did a full prep course and took the real test more than 6 months ago.
  • I want to take the test again.

then you want the ADVANCED COURSE:

  • 8 hours of tutoring
  • Review of content, structure, and strategy
  • 3 full length practice tests

Overview Course

If this describes you:

  • I am taking the test in less than two weeks!
  • I do not know ANYTHING about the test.
  • I can do one full length practice test and meet once to go over it and look at the basic content.
  • I will probably take the test again; this is the first time. I just don't want to go in totally cold.

then you want the OVERVIEW COURSE:

  • 2 hours of tutoring
  • Review of content, structure, and strategy
  • 1 full length practice test

Custom Course

If this describes you:

  • I have taken the test already, and I want to focus on only on one area (i.e. math).
  • I want to tutor hourly and see how it goes.

then you want the CUSTOM COURSE:

  • We only cover topics you want to improve in.
